Baked Chicken Wings

Without being from a box, breaded, deep fried, floured, battered or tossed in a syrupy sauce, these wings are smoky, crispy, and flavourful. Make these wings at home with an oven, cookie sheets and simple ingredients.

In a large bowl, make the marinade by whisking together:

  • 1/4 C olive oil

  • 1/4 C honey

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 TBSP garlic powder

  • 1 TBSP smoked paprika

  • 1 TBSP oregano

  • 2 TBSP balsamic vinegar

Add 2 pounds chicken wings and coat evenly, then cover with plastic wrap and set in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.

After (at least) 2 hours, preheat oven to 420.

Remove the chicken wings one by one from the marinade bowl and spread evenly on 2 cookie sheets.

Bake for about 40 mins, until bubbling, golden and crispy.

Sprinkle with fresh basil, cilantro or parsley.

Optional to dip in Greek Yogurt.
